How did you get into mindfulness and why did you stick with it?
What role does mindfulness play in your life?

I first entered a Zen meditation center at the age of 16 to accompany my brother and was immediately struck by the silence and simplicity of the practice. Since then, mindfulness has been the central pillar of my life, providing invaluable support, especially in challenging professional situations—whether as an international human rights expert or in leadership roles. I find particular encouragement and strength in practicing within a community, in meditation groups in Vienna, Berlin, and New York. I regularly practice with my family (my brother is a Zen teacher in New York), my closest friends, colleagues, and students.

What is your motivation/purpose for your work as a MOMENTUM trainer?

Mindfulness has had the greatest positive impact on my personal development, my relationships, and my influence in the world. As a mindfulness trainer, I hope to inspire others and support them on their journey toward greater well-being, effectiveness, and the realization of their potential.

As a MOMENTUM trainer, where do you most clearly see the importance and effectiveness of mindfulness training for companies?

In the positive impact that mindfulness has in the workplace: fostering better stress management, greater resilience, clarity, compassion, and more effective collaboration.

What do you think makes the MOMENTUM program unique?

The scientifically grounded and practice-oriented MOMENTUM program offers an optimal introduction to mindfulness. Over the course of six weeks, participants learn the essentials of mindfulness theory and practice through live sessions that provide ample space for exercises, self-exploration, and critical discussions with peers. The program is supported by an app that provides daily guided meditations and regular check-ins with a "buddy”. It helps participants discover the mindfulness practice that suits them best and supports them in building a sustainable daily habit. The program is led by experienced trainers and practitioners.
